BEAUTIFUL PORSCHE CARRERA TARGA!! This car is in great condition and is real FUN TO DRIVE. I truly enjoy it! The engine is in great shape, and there are no mechanical issues. My mechanic said, "You've got a nice engine there, my friend." I've driven it at a couple Porsche Club of America High Performance Driving events and it performed beautifully. The odometer has stopped turning and it reads 165,000 miles. The previous owner says it stopped working on his watch, and he owned the car from 2008 to 2010. So in the last 2-4 years, I estimate that the car has been driven about 5,000 miles, bringing the total to about 170,000. The previous owner never really got around to driving it due to out-of-town work. Similar story with me, I only drove it on some weekends, and at a couple of PCA events. The body and chassis are in great shape. The paint is smooth and shiney, however, after 28 years, it has a few minor chips in a couple of very low-visibility areas. The chassis has no rust. The Targa top comes off nicely and fastens on nice and safely. It comes with the original owner's manual and maintenance records. The interior is also in great shape. All of the instruments work, except the clock. Also, the back seats are in good shape, but the straps that hold the seat backs in the upright position have torn with time and they don't stay up. Finding black straps and screwing them in should be easy enough. I also have the Carfax report from 2010. Please email me if you would like to see it.
