Hello, you are bidding on a 1948 ford super 8 deluxe coupe. this is a running, driving coupe. the motor is a flathead motor. starts right up and runs good. idles good and smooth. has been change over to 12 volt system, has electric fuel pump and the fuel cell has been cleaned. tranny: is a three speed and in working order. car has the original rearend. interior: is mostly all new from floor to roof. original seats were recovered new floor mat, new head liner has cd player mounted in clove box (original redio in dash but not funtional). body: is in really good condition for the year. body is pretty straight, and the paint is not perfect but looks really good on the car(good colorfor this car). lights, wipers, blinker, brakes, all work as should. this is a very nice car for the year, and is mostly original. wheels are steel and silver painted ,tire hold air good and will last for some time but are starting to show some weather crack, tires still have good tread. bumpers are silver color and not chromed. all glass is good. i have not owned the car for very long. the car runs good and goes down the road good, but it does have a small rear main seal leak. the motor also has lower oil pressure than most modern cars, warmed up at idle its about 15- 25. driving down the road it goes back up. after checking on the net(for the specs. on this style motor) the normal oil pressure is 50 at 2000 rpm. but lowers back down at idle. please feel free to ask question, all sells ar final so please ask ? before bidding and look at all pictures. a 200.00 non refundable deposit through paypal at the end of auction is required the rest in cash at local pick up. thanks for looking.
