Vehicle Detail

1967 Pontiac GTO Tri Power This is a 1967 white on red Pontiac GTO. This has the original YS coded 400 engine. I believe the intake is not original. The motor has the YS Code K1769786133 casting number and was rebuilt by the previous owner. It has a tri-power but this was put back to original single carb. The transmission is original as well and has no problems and works as it should. This shifter is the Hurst dual gate his/hers. The car is equipped with air conditioning, power steering, power front disk brakes, bucket seats, dual exhaust and redline tires. The miles are original as well. This car is a factory heater delete with 3.90 gears. I have Pontiac Historical Society information and build sheet documentation as well. Options include: luggage lamp, rally guage cluster, wire wheel discs, console along with bucket seats, power steering, power brakes, soft ray glass, delete heater, redline tires, Safe-T Track rear axle, Turbo Hyrda-Matic transmission, and heavy load springs & shocks. This car is selling without warranty and is sold as is. I reserve the right to end the auction early or sell the car outright. The final bid will be the selling price and I will not negotiate off of that. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. On Jul-27-12 at 12:17:48 PDT, seller added the following information: CORRECTIONS: 1. This is not a tri power. I dont believe they made the tri power in 1967. When we bought it it didn't have the correct intake on. 2. The block, heads, and intake are all numbers matching. The intake is a quadrajet. The engine starts and runs as it should. 3. We found out today it is missing a shock in the front on the drivers side. It was delivered to my employment and is available for inspection. It has sat for the last 5 years. 4. The transmission works as it should, but it does leak. 5. The brakes are power drum brakes, not power disk brakes. 6. Obviously the rims are not period correct, they are 70's era. 7. In it's current state, it should not be driven because the brakes are a tad soft. The brake booser probably needs replaced. 8. The car was infact white with red interior origninally. 9. And YES, I am selling this car no reserve.
