Listed is a beautiful 1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500. The color is the original carmine red with tan interior. Body is very straight with no dents or rust. No previous wrecks or hard damage. The interior is very nice with no rips or tears in the material and the rugs in nice conditon. Included is the factory convertible boot cover as well as the almost like new factory tonneau cover. Convertible soft top is in as new condition. Included with the car is the original color matching factory hardtop. Hardtop is in great condition with the inner headliner very nice as pictured. Mechanically the car is very strong with no smome or adverse noise from the engine. Extra's include a downdraught 32/36 weber carburator and manifold complete with a performance header and exhaust. The susepnsion has been upgraded to a full set of adjustable Spax Shocks complete with a very mild set of front performance springs for a ride that is just slightly firmer then stock. No noise from the rear end or suspension. Mini-lite style wheels are in very nice condition with the tires in nice shape as well. This is a very road-worthy, drivable car with plenty of get up and go. The Spit has always been garaged and well maintained always being adult owned and driven with absolutely no track time, History is known on the car back to 1985.
