Vehicle Detail
Selling this excellent condition Fiat X/19. I am the second owner. I purchased the car with 35,000 miles on it from the original owner in 2002 and the car has never seen snow and almost never seen rain, and the car has always been garaged. I have the original window sticker for this car (see photo) along with all of the original owner's and warranty manuals, 2 sets of keys, original tool kit and jack. I have over $13,000. invested in this car and can provide all of the original documentation proving all maintenance and upgrades performed. Mechanical work has been performed by one of the best Fiat service centers in the USA, Giovanni D'Avola from Auto Sprint (in Chicago). The following is a list of many of the items that have been replaced over the course of ownership : New brake calipers on all four wheels, new brake pads, new brake rotors, new brake hoses, new brake master cylinder. New clutch master cylinder and new clutch slave cylinder and new slave cylinder hose. New front wheel bearings. Five new Dunlop tires (including the spare). All new radiator hoses, new water pump, new "V" belt, new heater hose, new anti-freeze coolant. New fuel pump. Points and condenser were replaced this year with a Pertronix electronic ignition system along with new spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Rebuilt Weber carburetor. New battery installed June 2012 (5 year warranty). New oil and filter (June 2012) with Rislone zinc additive. Installed (4) new KYB gas struts. Four wheel alignment (caster, camber, toe in/out). Adjusted valves. Replaced all fuel lines with neoprene rubber lines. Replaced rubber parts in shift linkage. New transmission mounts. New crankshaft main seal. New cam shaft seals. New engine motor mounts. New timing belt. New front and rear anti-sway bars. New windshield wiper blades. Smog pump removed (all parts are in a box). New re-upholstered seats. New Fiat deep pile floor mats. The car was also rust-proofed when new from the dealer. The car has the original AM/FM radio that was installed by the dealer. The car was professionally buffed out and new gold metallic pin-strips were put on in the exact same pattern as the original factory stripes. There are still some features I may not have listed, but you can see that this IS a Fiat X1/9 like few others that you will ever encounter. Not only is it an extremely original, adult driven, rust free and low mileage car, but it also has almost every single needed service/maintenance item performed for a car of it's age. A nicer example of this vintage will be very difficult to find, period ! A term like "Museum Condition" probably could be applied although I don't like to use very subjective terms like that. On a scale up to 100, I would estimate that this car is in the 90+ range, assigning a "Concours" rating is something best left to professionals. Here are some YouTube video links of the car. The second link "Drive" let's you hear the engine and see how nice the car sounds and drives. I hope these videos provide more information and demonstrate what a super nice car this one is. 1977 Fiat X-19 Top-Front.MP4 http://youtu.be/rztXSjeX5js 1977 Fiat X-19 Drive.MP4 http://youtu.be/Le2FNDqx8ro 1977 Fiat X-19 Engine-Trunk.MP4 http://youtu.be/fDU4jRum2DE 1977 Fiat X-19 Exterior.MP4 http://youtu.be/6cYXfTiBNdA 1977 Fiat X-19 Interior.MP4 http://youtu.be/37f4IoDlTpM Please feel free to email me with any questions.
