Vehicle Detail
This is a 1936 Ford Roadster built on a 1936 frame with all correct '36 accessories including a 1936 ford radio (for looks only), the original Ford ignition key system, original floor heater, but it stops there! The car has a 350 Chevy engine with the block and most all other parts chromed, with an Eddlebrock carberator, 350 automatic transmission with a Genie shifter, chromed corvette rear end with chromed leaf springs and stabilizer bars. The front end is a chromed straight axel with chromed leaf springs and chromed stabilizer bars. It is cooled by an aluminum radiator and 2 cooling fans and has an aluminum gas tank. The entire exhaust system is stainless steel with chromed flared tail pipe ends. This is a perfectly built "OLD SCHOOL" street rod with very much attention spent on detail. The dash is wood grained with all the correct instruments and knobs. The seats in the car and rumble seat are leather with rolls and buttons as seen in the pictures. The doors and the sides of rumble seat compartment have lots of detail work with pockets. It does not show up very good in the pictures but the small side windows have flowers etched in the glass, very nice! The car is 23 years old but has been stored in a climate controlled room and covered. The paint is still has a good shine but does have some tiny spider web cracks. The upholstery is in perfect condition but the carpet does show some wear. The top boot is practically new but the top shows wear. The wheels are chromed spoke wheels and the tires are like new. This car rides smooth and is mechanically perfect. NO SURPRISES. The glass body was made by Fairfield and the rear fenders are also glass. There is so much detail that you almost need a magnet to tell that they are not steel. It is titled as a 1936 Ford. The car does not have air but does have the original floor heater. The top is fold down with wood top bows and chromed metal frame. The radiator housing, the hood, the running boards, and both front fenders are steel. The frame is a 1936 frame boxed at the motor area.
