Up For Sale is our 1991 BMW E30 M3 This RARE car runs and drives great with only 68,888 original miles. I purchased this car from the Houston Police Dept not knowing it was so rare. The car has been in storage since 2002. When I got it in April this year we had all the fluids changed and she started right up. The paint has some cracking spots here and there. Also, a few small door dings (nothing a local ding doctor can't fix). The interior is probably a 9 out of 10 with no tears or fading and no dash cracks. Very Nice!! The radio needs the code put in to be operable (most BMW Dealerships will do this at no charge). The driver side and passenger side windows are electric and are stuck in the up position. Could just need the contacts cleaned but don't know. The electric sunroof works, Don't know if the a/c works, no belt on the compressor. The brake lining sensor light is on, but brakes look to be fine. The pirelli tires have tread like new but are cracking around the edges from sitting, so if you are planning on driving this car home across the country you should plan a stop at a tire store before leaving Houston. When I got the car in April of this year, I had it taken to my home on a flatbed trailer. After draining the old gas (that was really old and varnished ) and refilling with new gas, I put Lucas fuel injector cleaner in and changed out all fluids, she started right up. The paint is not factory and is old and cracking and chipping in spots. (please look at pic's) I don't see any rust on the car. Just some door dings (nothing a local ding doctor can't fix) The interior is probably a 9 out of 10 and you can tell that it has always been a non-smoker car. (smells like a BMW ) No dash cracks. Don't know if the air condition works, the interior fan blows just fine, but the compressor is not hooked up. I had my neighbor look at the compressor, he said it is not frozen and should work once the belt and all is put on and charged. The brake lining sensor light is on, but brakes look to be fine. I have described above what all has been done to it since I have been the owner except I have also rinsed the car off with the hose twice (at my home) and vacuumed the interior twice. The engine compartment and under-carriage have not been washed, cleaned or detailed in any way. This car has not been restored, just driven off and on for about ten + years and then parked for about another ten years in a storage. It looks to me like it is all original except the exterior paint. Many have ask about the vin #'s . All of them that I have located, ALL have the same #'s even the ones etched in the windshield and all glass. I have not located the #'s on either one of the front fenders.
