Don't sit on the sidelines and watch this Mustang get away. Bid now. Up for consideration is a really nice 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible. Unfortunately, I've lost my storage space at my cousin's house and must sell. My loss is your gain, as I don't have the room for her at my place. Hoping the winning bidder gives her a good home and care. I have owned the car since 1999 and enjoyed the hell out of her. I have invested nearly $15,000 into her over the years, beginning with swapping out the original 302 around 2001 for the rebuilt 351 Windsor she has now. Engine has bored .30 over and has less than 10,000 miles on it. What she's got: Edelbrock intake and 650 cfm carburetor, power steering, electrical system has been rewired, brake lines have all been replaced, had the C4 automatic transmission beefed up with the engine swap, performance driveshaft, headers, dual Flowmaster mufflers on Thrush exhaust system, electronic Mallory ignition, Cragar SS rims, Mach 1 hood scoop and spoiler, Acapulco blue paint, with Mach 1 style flat black accents and blue vinyl interior. Interior needs to be cleaned up, but is in overall decent shape. Also have an uninstalled Monte Carlo bar and the original steering wheel that are included. What needs attention: Body and rails have some rust. Canvas top and folding glass window need attention (window is missing seal between folding sections, but not broken), automatic top is not functioning. Tires need to be replaced. Brake pedal is very low. Brakes stop the car at lower speed, but unlikely safe to drive as is. Car had been undriven and in storage for the last six years, but fired right up with a new battery and fresh gas. Email me with questions.
