bug is in very good condition for being all original including paint ......... has a dent in rear of drivers side front fender that goes into the running board ......... but there is a new fender and running board replacement in the back seat that goes with the car ............. has stock motor that was rebuilt 40 K ago ......... runs like a top ......... has all almost new tires ........ brake pedal is a little low ....... might need shoes , or just set up ............ interior is good ............ On Jul-10-12 at 17:39:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I was out buzzing the bug around today and the the blinker stopped blinking ....... the brake lights still work but not the headlights .......... when you put a fuse in it blows right away ..........in a car this simple it cant be much ........... probably something very simple like a bulb socket ........ also, with regards to " no rust " of course I mean nothing rusting through ........ there is a little surface rust in a couple of places ....... on the fender where it's dented and on the dented running board .......... but what does it matter when the new fender and running board are in the back seat .......... waiting to be changed .............. I've heard it's real easy , so why don't I do it ? I'm too old and mechanically challenged for the job ..............I'd rather just sell it cheaper and let the buyer fix it .............. you need to fix your own bug so you become one with it ............On Jul-11-12 at 08:58:39 PDT, seller added the following information: the mileage stated is what the speedo shows ..............as stated before , the motor was rebuilt about 40 k ago , but how far the car has gone is unknown ....... On Jul-13-12 at 10:05:06 PDT, seller added the following information: OK. , so here are the other photos I was asked to take ............ in doing so I did notice that there is a little rust on the bottom that I did not notice before ........ so I hereby change my "no rust" statement to " minor rust "
