This is an orginal owner Mazda RX-7, that was purchased brand new as a Valentines Day gift for my wife. As the vehicle was only driven on sunny Sundays it has taken up a permanent residence in my garage since it was purchased. Never driven in the rain or snow and there was never any pets or smoking in the car. In all honesty, the car has been babied since I bought it. Exterior - The paint is black and is in wonderful shape. There are very minor stone chips on the front that occured from the few times we drove the car, but they are hard to spot unless you are really looking for them. The car was regularly waxed and well maintained and on the few occasions that it was parked outside, a car cover was used. The car cover is included in the sale.The car has never been in an accident and there are no door dings. The body panels are perfectly straight and there is not a spot of rust anywhere. The tires have been recently replaced, Michelin Energy, and have less than 100 miles on them. There is no pitting in the windshield. Interior - The factory orginal grey color interior reflects the condition of the exterior and everything works as it should. The headrests have the factory speakers and are fully functional, especially when the top is down. There is some slight discoloration on the leather of the driver's seat side bolster, but it is minor and can be seen in the pictures. There are no spots, rips or tears anywhere, including the trunk. The dash is perfect with no cracks. Driveability - The car drives like new. The steering is responsive, the engine is strong; it fires right up and does not use any oil. An oil change was completed every 2,000 miles. The battery is new. The five-speed transmission shifts smoothly and easily. Last month it also passed the Virginia emissions and saftey inspections without a hitch. Convertible Top - The car comes with the factory boot cover and all other original accessories. The car can be driven top down, as a targa or, completely enclosed with the top and targa in place. We hate to see her leave our home, but its time for a new owner to enjoy and care for her just as we have.
