I purchased this 1968 Mercury Cyclone GT from the second owner will the full intention of doing a complete restoration.  Car was originally a 390/C6 combo, with air, power steering, and disc brakes.  After pulling the engine/transmission and all the interior, I had the car media blasted.  After reviewing the car with my engine builder and body man, I have decided not to proceed with restoring it.  The car was hit on the passenger side and poorly repaired with body filler at some point prior to being repainted red. The pictures included show the car after it was media blasted.  The car was originally white with red interior.  This is a rolling chassis.  All glass is good in the car.  Floor pans are solid.  Included in this auction is steering column and wheel, the lower dash, all the glass (which is good), all of the sheet metal minus the front valance and cowl section, all of the front suspension and the 9 inch rear.  Engine and transmission are not included.  This car comes with a  title.  I will also include the Marti report for the car.  Car shows the trans cover and shifter in pics, however, this is not included with the car. Buyer is responsible for pickup of the vehicle located in Santa Fe, NM.  Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells before the end of the auction.
