Vehicle Detail
This was a factory automatic, 302, Ranger which, was Grabber Blue. The numbers show and it has been verified to be a large bearing rear end with Trac Loc. This was built in San Jose right where the most valuable Mustangs were built. Original to California - original blue plate - has been climate controlled for 4 years in Mass and seen no winter driving. This is not a trail beaten bronco! It came with the larger Dana front end in 74. It had dual tanks. I believe the Warn front bumper to be dealer added and it is hard to locate this item. I purchased this truck in Sacramento approximately 4 years ago. It is 99.9% rust free with only two very small spots on the crease of the floor pan by the gas pedal. This was a result of the front windshield gasket leaking slightly. It has a small patch on each spot and the pans do not need to be replaced. In terms of rust this is about as good as a gets. This is one solid bronco. You will be hard pressed to find one better! Every replaceable part on the front end related to suspension and steering was replaced. 3.5 inch Wild Horse progressive springs in the front with 10 pack leafs in the rear from Toms. It’s a soft yet well handling ride. All of the following parts indicated have no more than 3000 miles on them unless indicated otherwise!!Bestop, Added roll-up rear window and taped/sealed seams!! Bilstien 5100’s all around. Extended radius arms and rubbers. Aluminum radiator. Front disk brakes pads. Lokar kick down cable 33 x12.50 15’s 15 x 10 Aluminum Rims - Weld knock offs ( were with truck very good shape ) Windshield PCV and Filter Ignition Module All new vacuum and water hoses. Edelbrock low rise ( older came on vehicle ) Electric fuel pump. ( under vehicle - not pump under hood ) Griffith aluminum radiator with cap with zinc anti- corrosion device. New overflow tank.Dual tanks ( One with new hoses and one will include the hoses. ) Original Equip. Factory skid plates on both tanks Restored old large diameter roll bar - very hard to locate 3” Seatbelts ( Older ) New leather belley New stainless door skins ( nice and heavy with no wavy look to them like many are ) Custom aluminum side brush guards ( great to protect the absolutely mint doors when parking too) Simpson shoulder harness – not to worry there’s been no racing or launching with this truck but they are nice to have. Hitch ( original ) Bully stainless step. Factory installed warn bumper ( No winch ) Original vintage Sun tachometer ( now they sell a reproduction ) I believe these were dealer installed since so many had them. New turn signal assy. New ignition switch Three B&M shifter knobs B & M Mega ratchet shifter with new cable Ford Over Drive tranny with kevlar cluthes, low first gear kit, all new seals, pump and converter. Has adapter kit from Advanced Adapters. Also, a new crossmember designed for this application. New mounts. It was all nicely painted while it was out on the floor’s underside. Fully rebuilt transfer case with new mounts. U joints. Balanced shafts Rear and front wheel bearings ( Truck has factory large bearing rear end with posi ) Wild Horses traction bar ( across the frame to top of rear end housing ) Glass hood with black gel coating. Has an older cd player and 6x9 speakersd Drive this truck home, cross state or cross country! Not enough work for me right now and I'm losing my baby. I never planned on selling this truck. There is so much detail that went into dialing this bronco in and someone will get a great truck. Please e-mail me with any questions. On Jul-09-12 at 20:37:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Added 7/9/12 This transmission is rated at approximately 600hp stock. With the modifications I'm told by the builder it will easily handle 750HP. I had it set up with a nice smooth shift ie; there is no radical shift kit in it. What the goal was is a very reliable transmission capable of manual shifting, that could handle a 425 - 450 hp motor all day long. Also, so it could be used in a high torque application such as towing w/o any problems whatsoever. The C3 is a terrific transmission but this gets much better mileage and has much greater capabilities. Its hard to see ( and I have photos ) but I removed the rear carpet from the rear of the front seats back to prep it. The floors were mint and I sanded them down, wiped them with solvent and put a nice coat of rust oleum down. The goal was to pull the front seats and replace them along with new carpet at some point. The carb is a 650 cfm. The tires are in very good condition. I have the original trim for the front glass and will include it. There are a couple of dime to quarter size chips in the paint that I touched up. One of the fender flares has some sun deterioration in the clear coat - not sure why. I could only include the 24 photos ebay allowed. The front warn locks are new and the deluxe models.
