You are looking at a really nice 1966 Mercury Park Lane. This car is a real head turner and gets attention everywhere I have driven it. Here is the good... New radiator and thermostat, new tires on new Pacer wheels, new dual exhaust with Flowmasters, new exhaust manifold gaskets, and original interior that is in great shape with the exception of the seating area on the front bench seat. It has automatic transmission, power steering, a Sony radio (I do have the original AM radio)with power antenna, a 410 Marauder engine, and left as is, this car can be driven daily. It comes with the original owners manual. I purchased this car from a co-worker back in 2010 who purchased it from the local original owner who had garaged it for the previous 18 years. I was told and it was titled to have 23000 original miles, however when I titled it, I felt safer titling it with 123000, being that I was not positive of the mileage. As good as the body and interior are, I feel that it really could be 23000 original. The bad... it has power windows, 3 of which that do not work at present, and the blend door for the heater does not function, so no heat at present. I have no doubt that these 2 issues could be fixed with just a little time. As you can see in the photos, the hood does not lay flat at the back. This is a result of the previous owner removing the hood and not properly realigning it. I have attempted it myself with little success. I think it would be an easy fix with 2 people working on it rather than just one person. Otherwise, the pictures speak for themselves. This car has a solid body with only a couple of bad spots near the back of the car which I am highlighting in the photos. The chrome is in great shape and all parts and trim are there. I have receipts for the tires, wheels, and exhaust which total almost $1500 alone. Buy it now for only $2800. Take this one of a kind head turner home today. This car can be driven home. I have never driven it more than 100 miles round-trip, but I have no doubt that it would do fine above and beyond that mileage.
