Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1991 Buick Regal Costom 2door. It has been my daily rider for 7-8 years. I've put thousands and thousands of dollars into the vehicle over the years and has been real reliable. It has an inspection sticker good until the end of September this year and will easliy pass a NY State inspection when this one is up. A clear New York title in my name. I'm only selling because I've picked up another vehicle and put it on the road a couple weeks ago. I have several other vehicles on the road and cannot use this one also. I'll get into detail as to what has been done to the car over the years and is currently ready for the road. This is a 2Door vehicle. It has power windows, power door locks, automatic transmission with overdrive, 4 wheel disc brakes, Intermitten wipers, Cruise control, AM/FM radio with casette, Cigarete lighter and ash tray, with Air Conditioning. Within the last 9 months I've put about $3,000.00 into the car. New alternator ( not rebuilt ), New Battery, New seal behind the harmonic balancer, New oxygen sensor, New oil pressure switch, New front passenger side motor mount, Top mount ( dogbone), New rack and pinion, New drivers side upper ball joint, New tires all around and had Nitrogen put in all 4 about 3 months ago, New front brake pads and new rotors, New rear brake lines both sides, New exhaust not including the catalay converter, New air filter, New hood latch, New turn signal flasher, Changed the horn pad with a great used one. Over the years prior to the above I put a lot into the car as follows. After having the car almost a year I need a new transmission, Installed it was $3,000.00. About a year or so ago I put in a new modulator and hose, All 3 Ignition coils were replaced New, New radiator, Hoses and a new Low coolant sensor swith, New starter, New power steering high pressure hose, New harmonic balancer, New belt drive tensioner, New rear motor mount, The catalay converter was new when transmission was done, New exhaust hangers, both rear calipers new ( rear brake pads and rotor were dont about a year and a half ago and lots of meat left on them. New arm in the drivers side rear suspension, Locking gas cap, New front strut cartridges both sides, New rear suspension both sides - whole assemblies, New passenger wiper arm, Both door locks and trunk lock replaced and keyed alike, Drivers door handle and drivers mirror replaced, Glove box locking latch new, New turn signal switch lever ( controls the turn signals, wpiers and have intermitten wipers as well, and controls the wiper spray and cruise control. New switch on the steering column that controls some rear brake lights, New turn signal switch behing the steering wheel, Radio was changed and a new antenna installed, The air conditioning was all replaced about 4 years ago - New AC-Delco compressor, reciever-drier, orifice tube new oil - seals and converted to 134A. The system will have to be charged as of now. Also installed in the vehicle is the tornado- helps horsepower, added a diode in the IAT switch located on the tube from the air filter ( Helps with horsepower and a great improvement in gas milage), Also added to the fuel line is a Fitch Fuel Catalyist ( helps improve gas milage and ups the octane in the fuel put into the vehicle as well as helps keep the injectors etc. clean ) - Look it up on-line to see what it infact does. Has a spare tire with jack and lug wrench, and an owners manual in the glove box, Should have an extra set of keys as well. The oil has been changed every 3 months like clockwork since I've owned it. After the transmission was replaced I've serviced it every summer since not including this summer, Gas filter has been changed every summer as well except this one. Tune up and surpentine belt about every 2 years. The belt is in great shape. This car is ready for the road- the only thing that should be taken care of right away is it needs a passenger side upper ball joint replaced, The horn works but keeps blowing the fuse, The gas filter should be changed before the winter. The odometer has not worked since I've owned the car and the speedometer works but is off by about 7-8 miles an hour ( if your going 53MPH your actually doing about 60-61MPH ). I've gotten used to it over the years. In fact I had the speedo sensor replaced once and cost over a couple hunder dollars and worked for about 20 seconds - a total waste. Car can be viewed, just call and leave a message at 516-223-1777, well work out a time and day - no problem. This is going up with no reserve and would make a great daily rider for anyone. I'll get back to anyone with questions within a 24 hour period.... May have forgotten a few things done to the car believe it or not and may have a few extras to go along with it to.... Forgot to mention that the car has tilt steering wheel. Also you have the car frame and in the front of the vehicle is a sub frame ( the motor trans and suspension connect to it. The passenger side rear of the sub frame had a new rubber mount set up installed about 8 months ago.. Just adding a picture of the interior - shot of the dash from drivers side...
