Vehicle Detail
This auction is for 1-1967 AMC Rambler American Rogue Convertible. There were only 921 of these cars produced in 1967 as convertibles. This one has the inline 6 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, power steering, power drum brakes, and the Rogue Trim. The odometer appears to be correct at around 81650. Has a clear Ok. Title. The engine I am told was rebuilt and/or replaced some years ago when it received a restoration including paint etc. I am including the casting # from the block which is 3190808, I don’t know if it is numbers match for sure. I do have the original owners manuals, original purchase receipt, and some other receipts etc. to document it has had very few miles put on it over the years. All the lights, directional, horn, electric top, wipers. etc. seem to be in working order. The heater core must have gone out at some point and they just looped the hose around. This is a fun little car to drive with style, economy, and the rarity that you probably won’t meet up with one like it at the next stoplight. It starts, runs, and drives as is. The floors and trunk appear to be very solid as I have tried to show in the photos. The outside of the body has a shine and looks good for a local driver, cruiser, or even a parade vehicle! There is one spot that has been touched up on the hood approx. 2” x 2” area. The tires have tread but show signs of being dry. It retains all four hubcaps and a spare tire. I do not have the jack and 3 pieces of chrome trim are missing, 1-on the lower passenger's door, 1-on the drivers lower front fender, and 1- on the rear of the car above the decerative trim piece between taillights. Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding, Do Not Assume anything. I try to be as straight forward in my listing as I can. All in all it is in pretty decent shape for a convertible of this vintage. As with any 45 year old car they can always need a little TLC here and there.Vehicle is sold in As Is condition, with No Warranty Implied. Serious inquiries can reach me at 580-402-3349. If I miss your call, leave a message and I will call you back. Shipping arrangements as well as costs associated with same will be the winning bidder’s responsibility. I can store for a couple weeks while arrangements are made. Prefer $500 PayPal payment within 48 hours of auctions close and the balance in cash in person. Vehicle and title will not be released until full payment clears my account. Seller Reserves the right to cancel auction due to local sale. I will try to add video soon!
