1965 Ford ThunderbirdThis is a beautiful two door hardtop that runs, drives, and looks great!It has an extremely nice paint job with original interior. All the brightwork including bumpers, grillwindshield surround moulding, emblems etc. are all extremely nice. This car shows super nice and will not dissapoint. Interior The interior looks to be original, it has very light consistent wear to the upholstery. The upholstery is all nice, including the headliner. Bucket seats with a full length console. The dash lights, gauges, heater, wipers, etc. all work as they should. It has a power driver seat and power windows. The sequential turn signals and all exterior lights work as should, as does the trunk courtesy light. The stock radio makes noise but I can't tune any thing in. The tilt away steering column works great. Exterior The paint job is very nice, it shines really well. There is no runs or orange peel. It has PPG base clear. It was cut and buffed nicely. The body is very straight without any signs of body repair or accidents, etc. No ripples or waves. It holds it's own and would look great at any indoor car show or outside show and shine. There is not any scratches or dents anywhere. The white vinyl top is perfect with no stains, rips, or tears. Fender skirts set it off. All the glass is in great shape. All the lights work properly. The bumpers, trim, grill, molding etc. are all in exceptional shape. Tires & Wheels The tires and chrome wire wheels are in great shape. The tires have few miles. These are wheels, not wheel covers, they are the full wire wheel with the tri bar spinner center caps. They are the ones that are $2200 for a set of five. The spare matches and is in the trunk. Drivetrain The engine is the stock FE big block 390. The transmission is the cruise a matic three speed automatic. I was told the motor and transmission were rebuilt not to long ago. The way it runs and drives I believe it is true. The car starts, runs, drives, stops and steers as it should. It handles great and goes down the road nice. No smoke, no rattles in the engine etc. The carb is a Holley four barrel. This T Bird flat moves when you give it the gas. The shocks, tie rod ends and other misc front end parts are new. The car has power steering and power disc brakes. The engine compartment is not all greasy and oily, it is clean and presentable. It doesn't leak any fluids. All in all this is a very nice car. It has been well maintained and garage kept, and it shows.Get in gas it up and drive anywhere. This car is ready to drive anywhere at anytime now.
