This 1949 Ford F-1 Pick-up has been beautifully restored. It features a 226 cid flathead six cylinder engine with a 3 speed floor shift transmission. The rear end has been upgraded to a late model Ford 9” with 3.00 gearing and larger brakes to allow for highway use. Many spare parts are included with the sale, such as the original rear end, a spare 4 speed gear box, carburetor etc. The body was removed from the frame during restoration. The entire vehicle is rust free, with no fiberglass or body filler. The drive train is in great condition. The engine shows good compression and runs well. The electrical system has been converted to a 12volt neg. ground. All lights function and it is equipped with turn signals/hazard flashers.
