This listing is for a 1999 Ford Escort ZX2. Engine is 2.0L DOHC 4 cylinder Zetec Engine. Has about 140 hp and 155 ft lbs of torque. Inspected thru 9/2012. This car gets 28-32 mpg depending on your driving style. The Car has 188,000 miles and runs great. Has a replacement engine that was rebuilt in 2009 so it has low miles on it. Lots of New Parts not listed. The whole Interior has been painted the same color blue as the exterior with some pieces wrapped with white Vinyl on the doors. We put in New Black Carpeting and New Black Roof in last summer. We also had Coverking make us up some Custom fit Black Seat Covers on all the seats front and back. We stripped the trunk and had it painted black with truck bed liner. Modifications -Andys Auto Sports Combat Bomb Body Kit with rear spoiler. Whole Car and Jambs were painted Honda Electron Blue Pearl Paint. -Motegi White 18" Split five Wheels -New Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires Purchased April 2012 -Iceman Cold Air Intake tube with K&N Washable Air Filter. -Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch -Eibach ground Control Springs and Camber kit -Tokico Blue Shocks -Custom bent 2.5" Stainless Steel Cat back Exhaust System. Sounds really good and has a nice growl to it. -Straight thru Stainless Steel Muffler - White Face Gauges -GTS Ventshades -Clarion CD Player -Infinity Sound System Speakers We purchased this car new back in 1999 so it is a 1 owner vehicle. The car has a clean title with no major accidents. We did hit a few deer on the front end and another car once so it has some minor front end damage. Mainly just missing the AC Condensor and a half messed up front bumper. We just replaced the hood and had it painted. The side skirts and rear bumper has some cracking on it. The is some minor dents , dings, scratches etc on the body in some spots with the front bumper being the worst. A little bit of rust showing on the rear fenders and under the doors. From time to time you may hear the belt making noise as well. Nothing major but wanted to mention that. Keep in mind this car has 188,000 miles on it so it is not new, it is used. We have maintained this car and kept in clean. Overall Great Condition for its age and price. Ready to go. We still drive it 5 days a week so it is reliable. This car has gotten thousands of compliments and it is a head turner. With a little bit of TLC this car could be a show car especially with the brand new interior.
