This is an original 1966 Volkswagen California Beetle. Spent it's entire life in Los Angeles & is a great example of a California Bug. It has gone thru a total restoration in the 80's. Over $8,000 in restoration receipts & service records, that goes with the bug. Has been always well taken care of & garaged. Serviced on a normal basis, too only one VW specialist thru out the years. Original panels, solid thru out. Clean front / rear aprons, hood, deck lid, doors, fenders & bumpers brackets. Great California undercarriage & most important, it's original. Desirable Color combination, Sea Sand with Black interior. Was restored back to original. Correct details such as the paint on the wheels & Continental spare tire. Has a vintage Roof Rack that has been with the car for many years. There are a few minor bubbles but noting that needs attention right now. The entire was restored at one point top to bottom. In really good condition, overall. The engine was rebuilt less then 30k miles ago with receipts. Runs Strong & smooth. A stack of service records going thru out the engine including seals, tuning, etc. Transmission shifts smoothly, doesn't smoke. Turn key & ready to be driven anywhere. Has a single crack in the the windshield, been there for ages. Rest of the glass fine. I drove it to San Diego last week for the weekend. Finding original Early Beetles in this condition are getting harder to find. Would be a excellent excuse for you to fly out to Los Angeles to drive her home. Keep in mind, it's a older restoration but barley was driven.
