Vehicle Detail

1946 OLDSMOBILE MILD KUSTOMOk regretfully up for auction is my 1946 Oldsmobile mild kustom. Let me start out by saying that I absolutely love this car. I have had it since about 2007 and drive it all the time. It is a reliable driver that I take everywhere with my kids. It went to goodguys columbus last year and numerous other day trips. I am selling this because I am going through a Divorce otherwise I'd keep it. I will say that this is a driver not a $100k dollar show car. Body: The body is a mildly and tastefully customized 1946 oldsmobile. Some of the modifications include frenched headlights, Shaved fender trim and holes, shaved door handles, welded and one pieced hood (Nosed), welded and molded rear fenders, shaved gas door, shaved bumper coves, shaved decklid(decked). The paint is dupli-color ready to spray lacqure left in a satin/semi-gloss... it is 2 tone with the roof and deck lid being about 5 shades lighter than the bottom half...the hole car has prisim flake which really "pops" in the sun light. The paint is not perfect as it is a few years old and like I said I drive this car so there are chips scratches,i would say its a 10 footer. There are no wipers everythings there just needs hooked up. i prefer rainx.... Interior:The interior was redone by the previous owner...it is a Silvery/Grey and black it is in really nice shape, it is missing the door handles for the vent windows I had them but cant find them. Drivetrain:The engine is a mid 70's chevy 350 with edelbrock carb, weiand intake, headers and a summit racing 1104 cam, it sounds great and runs even better. The cam, lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, and top end gaskets were all installed last spring. New head gaskets and bolt set also was done with the cam change. The transmission is a turbo 350 shifts great. A new drive shaft was built in 2010 to link the trans to the 10 bolt rearend. Gas tank is a 12 gallon boat fuel cell mounted in the trunk. The car does well in traffic and cruises great on the highway. Chassis:The car is on the stock olds chassis with the exception of the power brake up grade and the rear end swap. The car is lowered in the back using grand national rear coils for that tail dragger stance. the tires are old firestone bias plys they have small cracks but hold air i drive on them everywhere and have had no problems with them. The pics tell the story if you have any questions email me I am requiring a 1500 dollar non-refundable deposit at auction close via paypal. car must be paid for within 48 hours via paypal or cash if your local. I dont have time for no pay bidders only bid if you intend to bye pickup within 14 days On Jun-22-12 at 07:38:29 PDT, seller added the following information: 1947 1948 1942
