Up for auction is our 1974 vw beetle.It runs, but rough,it may need a good tune up or has some old bad gas in it.It has been in storage for 5 to 6 years now.It was inspected up until that point.It is at our house now. We Had it painted about that same time and paint has some bubbling now in a few spots,but still looks nice.the car is solid underneath,pans,frame,I beam, and heater boxes.I have bought all the tune up parts,cap,rotor,condensor,points and wires for it.During the storage years,I would go down from time to time to start it and drive it around the storage facility during the nice weather months.Car comes with a bill of sale only,there is no title.They are not required in my state being this old.I would not recomend driving the car far until it is running properly.If you are local you should be fine.All lights and horn and electrics are fine and work well.We just bought in the fall, 2 new tires,starter,and a battery.Also, as I mentioned earlier, as well, all tune up parts.The whole interior as well, has all been redone and looks beautiful.Car has nice chrome custom wheels,custom exaust,B&M shifter,and a custom steering wheel,new engine lid,brakes are fine to as well.It does need some tlc and is not perfect,there are some extra parts including the original spare tire and another tire(chrome wheel)both tires are mounted on the rims.Engine runs strong and does not smoke.car is a 4 speed stick and is a blast to drive.Any questions,please ask.We are selling with no reserve.Winning bidder needs to contact me within 48 hours after auction ends with shipping or pickup options.Car is not registerd or on road now.I might add, that if you have AAA,towing can be free up to as much as 200 to 300 miles if you have the premium plan like us.Payments excepted are cash,cashiers or bank checks,and money orders once they clear.Payment is required in full within 4 days of auctions end,and vehicle to be picked up within 7 days after auction is over.If you have questions, e-mail me or please ask before you bid.We can also be reached at (207)752-4680 or home at (207)363-4909.Car is also for sale locally,and I have the right to end the auction at any time if it is sold.Make sure you check out all my other rare and collectible things listed,including, this week, my big antique and bicycle collection being put on ebay in a few days as one big lot.Just click on sellers other items for sale or add me to your favorites list.Thank you.
