1973 FORD THUNDERBIRD COUPE - 460-V8 The reason you want to buy this T-Bird is that is it an 100% original and survivor specimen, with original paint, original vinyl roof, and original interior, which won't take much to restore, just some bodywork. It does have one of the rarest and most beautifull color combo of that time! This mettalic green gives him an amazing look! It does haves a very straight body, with no collision damages, bondo or whatever like this. It does wear his original paint, and his original factory vinyl roof, which is in perfect conditions, not faded or cracked! She does haves an very good motor and transmission, but the carburator is a little dirty because sitting and old gas, and should be cleaned up, to an perfect running. But that is! Car has power steering and power brakes. Brakes could need to be revised also because the long time sitting. Just 98,000 non-smoker miles. It has a 460ci engine with 4-barrel carb and starts right up with some fuel drops of gas into the carburator. Motor has a new water pump, oil pump, timing chain, and battery. Engine coolant, oil and filter, air filter, and points are all new. Transmission is a C6 automatic and works great. The interior is also 100% factory original, and is very nice with a good seats, carpet, door panels, and perfect dash pad (not cracked!). The headliner has been stitched up just above the drivers head. The body isn't too bad, having rust-out around the bottom where cars usually go. The passenger front fender has the worst rust. The frame is good, just with the common surface rust. The floors are good also. Chrome is very nice, and bumpers are shinning like new and 100% straigth, without ding or dents. Someone who must be in the jail took of the hood emblem some weeks ago. Power windows work good. Power seat and power locks work good also. Windshield is cracked and should be replaced (just $150 installed here in FL). All other glass is good. Tires are good with half life remaining. This car basically just needs some body patching. The perfect car to restore. Or skip the body work and just make a daily driver out of it. It looks respectable the way it is. I`m travelling almost all of the time now, and dont have the time to restore it as I planned. So, saddly I`ve realized that I should need it go. I really would like to see it go to the right hands, who can bring it back to his shinny days, that it is a good survivor and I feel it does have more good reliable years remaining on it.
