1962 Ford Galaxie 500 XL, 390 -4V Z Code Car, Automatic, Rare Power Seat Car!! Power Steering, Power Brakes. Tinted Windows. Car has 92,000 Miles and was parked under a carport since 1974. The interior is very nice, seats are in good shape no split seams no tears at all! This car has the nicest original XL interior I have ever seen! Check out the pictures! I did get it running, flushed the tank cleaned out the carb etc, car starts right up and purrr's like a kitten. The car had cheap chrome aircleaner and valvecovers and I replaced them with the original Thunderbird valve covers and aircleaner. Body is solid, the front fenders are rusty and could be fixed , probably easier to find a nice pair. At one time it looks like the right rear quarter was repaired it has some waves in it. Floors appears solid, trunk appears solid. I drove the car around the block and everything worked good, it should be trailered as the last time it seen the highway was 38 years ago. The car is very restorable has the original 390, with the cruisamatic, it is a z code car and a Xl with power seats some rare options for a galaxie 500.
