I am selling my 1991 Civic DX Hatchback. Here's what you need to know about the car: Clean title in hand 92,XXX original miles Automatic transmission Maintained very well - I have taken care of this baby! For a 20+ year old car it is in incredible condition. In the past month, I have already taken care of everything that starts to go around 100,000 miles: - new timing belt - new water pump - new alternator - new spark plugs - battery and starter are testing as good (when the mechanic plugs the car in for vehicle diagnostics, they also get a printout regarding the battery and starter - I have that printout stapled to the last service receipt and both are listed as "good") - oil and all fluids/filters changed and topped off - tire balance - tires are in reasonable shape, don't need new ones. - A/C runs cold - My mechanic (who has done a great job maintaining the car for me) has told me that the only thing the car will need by 100,000 miles is your standard brake service (like from Sears, Tuffy, etc) and its regular oil changes (I have been changing the oil every 3500 miles since it hit 80,000 miles). I'm the 2nd owner...bought the car from my mom's friend - it was her ex-husband's car, then made the rounds through her family, and when I I have been using the car for a daily commuter to usf st pete/downtown st pete and I drive about 15-20 total miles/day. - no issues with rust or salt - I don't live close to the ocean. You can check out the photos or have the vehicle inspected if you're worried about it. Here are the downsides to this car: as you can see in the last pic, one of the plastic pieces in the trunk is broken. Also, in the trunk and back seat pics, you can see some small white stains, I believe that from oxyclean, bleach, or another household cleaner that burst when I was moving and then dripped down onto the upholstery (I had the car packed pretty full). The driver's seat has a large soda ir coffee stain on the seat, which is why I put seat covers on it. For a 20+ year old car, these are not serious defects...just normal wear on the car. Everything in the car (except the head unit with usb/aux in and the seat covers) is ORIGINAL STOCK. That includes the speakers - they are original stock as well. I have only replaced the head unit so that I can plug in my ipod. I have taken care of all maintenance since I bought the car. Prior to that it was serviced regularly in Ft. Myers at a Honda dealership. I probably still have the original service records somewhere...I received a folder full of them when I bought the car. This car is a champ (like all Hondas) - it runs great and you really can't beat it for the price. I am asking 3300 or Best Offer. Contact me via ebay to purchase or to set up a test drive! I priced the car at 700 less than I have seen the exact same civic selling for at local dealerships and at the local auto auctions...but mine is the only one I've seen for sale with less than 100,000 original miles! So if you are going to make an offer, don't give me a crazy lowball. You are getting a reliable, well-maintained, fuel efficient car with very low miles for the model year. In 3,000 miles, the car will need an oil change. In another 8,000 miles, it will need a brake service. That's it! PURCHASE TERMS: Buyer can have the vehicle inspected by a 3rd party or come inspect/test drive the car at buyer's expense. I am selling the car as-is. Payment is accepted via cashier's check, money order, or cash ONLY. Cleared payment must be received within 3 days of the end of auction. If you must use paypal to buy the car, you must also cover the cost of the paypal fees...I will not absorb them.
