Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE!! NO RESERVE!! NO RESERVE!! The Half-cab is the most favored among collector's or everyday driver's due to their unique adaptability. The top comes off, the windshield folds down, the bulkhead between the cab and bed comes out and the side window glassess and frame are removeable to make for a UNIQUE look on the beach or in the woods. THE GOOD:This little Scout has 5 brand new non-directional tires ($750.00), a new exhaust-pipe, tailpipe and muffler ($250.00), rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump, new coil, new ignition switch, new clutch slave, new clutch master cylinder, new starter, new solenoid ($750.00), new floor pans ($50.00), newly relined gas tank ($50.00), new brake shoes, brake cylinders all way around and drums turned ($250.00).Cranks easily and runs strong, heater works great, gas guage works and Scout drives good down the road. The transmission and 4x4 works good but if you take it from high to low range you have to wiggle it alittle as the shift arms are loose and it may not go in gear the first time. Lights and horn work. I have owned the Scout for 5 years and have too many toys. The wife says if I get any more new toys, I have to sell some of my old toys. THE BAD: It has some minor rust areas underneath and in the battery area. There is some minor surface rust spots on the body. It has some bondo on the front left fender and that's all I could see. Until it warms up you have to leave the choke out a few minutes. It has windshield wipers but not hooked up, all guages, but not all working. Steering wheel is ugly, but turns. It has minor dents around it, but not bad ones, just pings and small depressions. Side windows are good, but windshield is plexiglass. I have $3000.00 in the new stuff and purchasr price but will set it in at $1500.00, so you can play. Call me if you have questions 903-684-3663, DeKalb, Texas. Sells with "Bill of Sale" that I got from the previous owner, plus one from me. There are no warranties or guarantees.
