1965 Ford Falcon Futura ConvertibleHere is a very cool 1965 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. VIN # 5H15T121526. Odometer is showing 84,700 miles. Strong running original straight 6 cylinder motor with a auto transmission. Car runs great and you can drive it anywhere with confidence. Just drove it in the local Memorial Day Parade. Shifts fine and stops as it should. Interior is in very nice shape. Seats and carpet are newer. The door panels are original and are a little wavy. Dash pad has some cracks but does have a correct dash pad overlay (see picture). Everything works including the blinkers, heater lights, wipers, fuel gauge and radio (It also has an old school FM converter that works). Horn does not work. Trunk is clean and solid. Floors are solid but have had some correct patch work done at both toe kick areas (see picture). Unibody is solid and has been professionaly re-enforced on both sides with 4" steel that runs from behind the front wheel to the front of the rear wheel (see picture). Doors close as they should with no sag in body. Top is in good shape with a plastic rear window. Power top works great! Brand new top boot. Car has a decent older paint that still shines up nice. It does have a few paint runs, chips and faded areas. Chrome and bumpers are original and in decent shape. However they do have some dull, faded and pitted areas. Here again still presentable as a driver. The car does have headers with dual exhaust on it so it has a nice little rumble. Most people think it is a V8. Comes with trunk liner, spare and original jack. I also have the original owners manuel.
