This rare 1978 Peach Metallic Red Champagne II edition convertible VW Beetle sells for $14,000 to $18,000 in perfect condition. There were only 1,100 of these imported into the US, less than half in this color. Since this is not quite in perfect condition, you can own this classic Bug for only $6,500. The engine is in great shape, she has been lovingly maintained by our German auto mechanic. She could use a new top (the black top was put on by previous owners, the original top was white). The exterior is in good condition but the paint has some blemishes and scratches. It has an aftermarket CD/Radio, but otherwise it is mostly true to original factory condition. This would be a great graduation gift!
