2000 Mercedes C280 Sport Edition. The vehicle was in an accident, which resulted in the front end damage (displayed in the photos). The registration is current and good up to March 2013. The passenger front airbag was the only air bag that deployed. The only warning light that stays on in the instrument cluster is the SRS light due to the air bag being deployed from the accident. The engine starts readily, idles smooth, no exhaust smoke, no abnormal engine noise, and no coolant leaks. The transmission shifts correctly, performs smoothly, and no trans fluid leaks. The windshield is broken from the right side airbag deployment. All of the power windows function properly. Aside from the front end damage, the rest of the body has some dings due to the owner parking for convenience in parking lots rather than walking further than necessary. The interior is in decent condition with some signs of age - inline with the age and mileage of the car. There is some cracking in the driver seat leather that may be minimized with applying a good leather conditioner. Service and repair record history will be supplied with the vehicle. The rear tires are worn smooth (a big reason why the accident happened on a rainy day). The worn rear tires were not the result of aggressive driving. The owner simply kept putting off tire replacement until the accident occurred. The brakes perform properly, and are squeak-free. The radio and climate control head units were removed with the intention of selling them separately. Depending on the ending auction price, head units may be included. The vehicle is equipped with all of the California emissions-related components. Being a California car, the undercarriage is free of corrosion.
