This was a beautiful 1981 380SLC that took water up to the bottom of the front seats after Hurricane Katrina. The motor was free but locked up after I drained the water from the crankcase. I have no idea why that happened. I was planning on putting a motor and trans in it but have been busy with other projects. It would be a fairly cheap way to get into an SL coupe or would make one hellacious parts car.If you have ever seen one of those Mercedes junkyards you know what I mean. The chocolate leather is nice by moldy. It is really complete. Since it was a good running car before the storm and I haven't removed anything it is in a condition that is hard to find in cars like this. The car is dusty in the pics but in one I washed the trunk lid so you can see the paint. I will answer all questions but might take a day or two if I have to go back to where the car is for pics or the like. The car is located about 35 miles north of New Orleans on Mandeville, Louisians. It has been in indoor storage since October 2005. The tires are up and I will meet whoever comes to pick it up. I am starting the auction at .99 cents and we'll see what happens!! Good Luck bidding!
