I have a 1997 Ford Tauras. had it for years. Has 73,000 original miles. However: Took for inspection , and has some issues . Needs front and back brakes and front rotors. He said need front lower ball joints. also the floor board is rotted and rusty, needs a plate put in under the rug. It needed a battery , I had brand new one put in. so wouldnt have to worry about it starting. He said would cost $900 retail to fix, I declined . Has smooth running engine and tranny. I drove it home, brakes up front grind a bit. Has a dented hood, some small spots of rust. Interior is decent. air and radio work fine, cassette player quit years ago. 4 door. automatic. You could drive home, but inspection is overdue. drive at own risk. the miles are original. was always in family, passed around as a 2nd and 3rd backup car. My kid drove it last few years, and he just updated and got his own car. Serious people only. welcome to come and test, short drive, bring mechanic, whatever. No tricks here, Just really never use and dont want to invest the $$. I am sure someone could repair on own for half the retail cost and have a great runner. paint faded a bit, Be realistic , car is 1997, see pictures. but again does run , good engine, tranny, steers fine, etc. serious bids only please.
