This is one extremely nice Thunderbird! The car looks great inside, outside, under the hood, in the trunk and underneath. The body and paint appear to be original. Even the original drain holes are intact, showing no evidence of any body repair. The chrome is bright and sharp. The glass is clear, bright and free of defects. The interior is flawless and breathtakingly beautiful, it was recently redone. The engine compartment is clean. The trunk is in nice condition. The underside is clean and solid. The engine runs very strong with no noises, or defects. The transmission shifts properly. The steering is as tight as I have seen in this type of car. The front end is tight, with no shakes, or shimmies. The brakes work as they should. The wide whitewall tires are in good shape with less than 4,000 miles on them. The exhaust system is in good shape and it is quiet. It is obvious that this car has been meticulously maintained it's entire life. Remember, this is not a restored car, it is an outstanding example of a well maintained, rarely used and garage kept car. I am usually very cautious when describing a car that is fifty two years old, often there is lots to tell. In the case of this car, I must say, it has me very impressed. There are a few minor defects and they are; A few minor dull spots on the paint. There are a few minor chips, or scratches on the paint. There are a few squeaks in it, when you drive. The radio and clock do not work. The antena is broken, but there is a new one in the trunk. The glove compartment door does not close tightly, but everything is there. Please know that I have described this car as accurately as possible. Keep in mind that it is a fifty two year old car, it is not to be compared to a new car.
