Dedicated Factory CNG Compressed Natural Gas Crown Vic. I was told this police interceptor Crown Vic was ordered and originally set up as a County detective car but was instead given to this municipality and used a supervisors car. It was inconvenient for the detectives not to be able to fuel up at the motor pool and thats why it was given to the muicipality. It looks and runs great, it does have some nicks that need to be touched up but there are no dents or major dings. The interior is clean and everything seems to work good, the A/C blows ice cold too. Throw a carpet over the factory rubber police flooring and you would have a great commuter car, as long as you have some filling stations by you ((which I don't). With natural gas at only $2 an equivilent gallon or only $1 if you have a fueling station at your house this could be a great money saver for someone. This has none of the problems the bi-fuel (cng and gasoline)crown vics had because the dedicated cng cars don't have the problematic compuvalves in them. I bought this with the intention of using it but the reality is that I would be going way out of my way to fuel up and I have a short commute so it doenst make sense for me. I considered making this a bi-fuel by adding a gasoline fuel cell in the trunk, running fuel lines to the rails controlled by a switch and the getting a flip chip for the computer, one program being the cng tune ad the other being the gasoline tune, but I really don't have the time for another project right now. I prefer local cash pickup, any funds sent will have to clear before the car is realeased to a shipper, bank to bank wire transfer is instant so thats the only exception.
