. Here's a NO RESERVE 1995 Mercedes S500 with 148,400 miles. This is a project car and is being sold in as is condition and NO EXTRA FEES! Who would ever think a nearly $100,000 supercar would be pennies on the dollar!! The ASR light is the issue. The bulb is out for the ASR. The car is in a limp mode but it will eventually get up to highway speed. It feels restricted or plugged up. The car has had a transmission installed and I believe that they did not hook up the vacume lines right or something because it now shifts from first to second and so on too quick. The transmission had about exactly the same miles. This one has an updated wiring harness in 2009, a newer throttle body and map sensor. The car looks nice. Has some dings, bumps and scratches but has a nice appearance. The back end is sitting low and could use the kit that eliminates the hydraulic rear end. The car sat for 8 months because of both Winter storage and it was getting the transmission installed. The car is loaded up with options. Heated front and rear seats. Power front and REAR seats! Power sunroof, windows, assisted closing doors (not working) assisted trunk closer (is working) Rear shade (not working) 11 speaker sound system that works great. CD changer and I am not sure if that works. The back up antennas work. Power tilt wheel and telescopic wheel. Rest position on the climate control keeps the heat on with the key out of the ignition for about 20 minutes when you run into the store. Thermopane windows on the sides to keep sound down and frost away. ( not bulletproof) The car has a Mercedes battery that is strong. The brakes have some rust on the rotors from sitting over the winter. The tires are in good shape. The windshield is cracked but I found they are available in the $250 area for a new aftermarket one installed. The back left window regulator has a broken plastic tab so the window should not be used. I have the open and clear NYS title in hand. The title shows exempt since it is over 10 years old in NYS (all vehicles show exempt over 10 years old in NYS). My Brother purchased a 500SL and said, " Sell the S500 on Ebay". I really don't know more about the car and I have listed everything I was told about the car or can tell you about it. The pictures show the rest. Thank you!!
