I am selling my 1971 Datsun 240Z. I have owned this car for 13 years. I hate to see it go but I have become overwhelmed with projects that have taken priority. This car has been in storage since 2005. The car runs and drives well. It has new springs all around, new rear sway bar end links, rear diff. bar bushings, and just had the rear struts replaced. Still has an inline 6 and has been upgraded to a 5-speed transmission with a motorsport short trow shifter. Engine was rebuilt at some point and has a thumpy camshaft and a header. Car has new Flo-pro exhaust and sounds awesome. Has original gauges in dash with the exception of a COMP coolant temp guage that is nicely installed. The paint on the car looks great but is of moderate quality with orange peel and some blemishes. There are some scratches in the rear glass that have were there when I bought the car. The original interior shows very well with only a small amount if wear on the drivers seat back. This is a very solid car. The floors are perfect, the only rust I can find on the car is a spot on the inside of the passenger rocker panel that is about the size of a half dollar. The only issue with the car is the brake master clyinder needs re-built after sitting. The car still stops but the pedal is soft. The Z is currently sitting on like new centerline wheels. The rear tires are new and the fronts are approx. 50% tread. This is a Excellent example of an early Datsun 240Z that anyone would be proud to own. Please feel free to ask questions.
