5 Day Auction With No Reserve - Sold To The Highest Bidder This is an original 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Built 289ci Automatic. A True California Mustang that spent it's entire life in Los Angeles, with it's original Black plate. This Mustang has it own look that stands alone when next to others. Painted Candy Apple Red with Black standard interior. Has a brand new set of American Racing 15x7 Polished Custom Torq Thrust II. Wrapped in brand new BFGoodrich TA's. Options include Rally Pac - Console - Power Steering. The color combination & wheels make it a attention grabber. Engine specifications: The 289 was rebuilt at 46,800 (8/07). Added a Holley 600 carburetor, MSD Ignition & Edelbrock Intake. The block specs are 0.40 TRW 10:01 - Mild Comp. Cam 268H At 46 110' - Crank polished + Chamfered. The heads are ported exhaust 1.6 roller tips. Has dual exhaust with Dual Turbo mufflers. It was built to move fast. I recently added a brand new 3 row radiator & a battery. I had the drum brakes worked on (new shoes -turn the rotors). It was recently serviced & mechanical inspected. Would make a excellent driver for someone looking for a dependable Mustang. Great car if your looking to cruise for the summer. The 289ci was built to be driven & moves quickly. Exterior/Interior Details: It's an older restoration that was barley driven & garaged. A driver restoration was done in 06/07. The paint looks good but is a older paint job with a few flaws (few paint chips,small imperfections). Keep in mind, its in driver condition. The interior was kept to look original. Black standard interior with no aftermarket cut outs. In really clean shape & complete. All the gauges & Rally Pac do work. The undercarriage is in beautiful & original condition. A fine example of a California Mustang. Floors/ frame structure / trunk are clean. The engine compartment aprons are in clean shape with original weld marks. The original id is still stamped. Everything under the hood is straight. The American Racing Wheel/TIre set up has less then 25 miles on them, costing over $1500 dollars. The tires are BFGoodrich TA's 205/60R15 all around.
