Hi. You are looking at a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang. Before I start rattling off parts and custom modifications I have to tell you that there is literally no other mustang like this one, anywhere in the world. It has a highly modified and modern powertrain and suspension while still maintaining the classic exterior (read no wacky body modifications) and interior style of the 69' Mach 1. At first glimpse this car appears to be a nicely restored 69' Mach 1 Mustang - and it is - but that's not even close to where it ends.... Engine: 351 Windsor Bored .060 over and rebuilt professionally and correctly for power by Coughlan Machine in Norwood MA Heads: Edelbrock RPM aluminum heads Headers: Headman headers Fuel Injection: Holley Commander 950 - fully programmable/adjustable via laptop Ignition: Jacobs electronic ignition Exhaust: Custom stainless steel exhaust with Borla mufflers Steering: Flaming River rack and pinion steering along with a Flaming River polished steering column Suspension Frame: TCP under hood chassis stiffener, frame stiffening with custom engineering and installation Suspension Front: TCP coil over front suspension Suspension Rear: Custom 4 link rear coil over suspension with Varishock shocks and custom coils Transmission: Automatic AOD 4L80E (not a misprint), the transmission is fully programmable/adjustable via laptop Shifter: Hurst shifter Rear End: Custom Strange Engineering rear end with 4.11 gears Wheels: Boyd Coddington Magneto Wheels Tires: Toyo T-1 Brakes: Bear Brakes - 11" drilled/slotted rotors rear - 14" drilled/slotted rotors front Fuel Tank: 22 gallon custom Fuel Safe racing fuel cell Radiator: Large BeCool aluminum radiator Fan: Twin electric Flexalite fans Alternator: 140A Pedal - TCP Billet pedals Paint: House of Colors paint with metallic flake, gun metal color inlay in the hood and gun metal stripes Gauges: Haneline white gauges Audio: Eclipse in-dash multimedia head unit with GPS navigation and IPod dock in center console. JL audio Amps, subs (12") and rear deck speakers, rear "seat" amp/sub installation is totally custom and very loud/crystal clear with 800 watts Battery: Custom truck mounted with enclosure and remote under hood kill switch If you're still reading this it's for a good reason...because the car is ridiculous. This car was purchased in 2004 in Florida with 57,XXX miles on it. When it was picked up it was in very good condition and even had a Polyglass spare tire in the trunk. When the car had 58,XXX miles the wrenches and CHECKS started coming out. The original gauges were replaced with Haneline gauges and the odometer now reads ~2,XXX miles, which is how many miles have been put on the car since modifications have been completed. This car was not purchased or built to be a trailer queen. It was purchased and built to be reliable, powerful and DRIVEN. Also, just to be clear, the modifications and parts listed above are not nearly ALL of the modifications and customizations that this car has, many are out of sight, like the custom flex plate you will never see. There isn't one single performance or custom part on this car that was thrown on willy nilly. Every, and I mean EVERY, part that was put on this car was analyzed, compared, studied and discussed - attention to detail. This car is adult owned and driven. It drives like it is on rails. It's never been raced (either on a drag strip or any sort of on or off road race coarse) but it is so highly engineered, modified and customized that I'm sure if you wanted to tomorrow you could race it. It's just plain old superior to any other 69' Mach 1 Mustang you're going to find.
