1974 Mercury Comet

1974 Mercury Comet with straight 6 engine. The car has s 3spd manual on the column. Blinkers and exterior lights work, brakes are good. The tires are ok. The interior lights need some tlc. The car has a small dent on driver side rear quarter ( see pic) also some rust under battery box and the passenger corner of radiator support ( see pic). The only other rust, and its almost not worth mentioning, is under the drivers side rear quarter panel, the spot where it is could be removed and not effect the car at all( see pic). Its been sitting a few years so the carb needs a little attention as well. The hood has some scratches as the pics show because the hood hinges need some fine adjusting. Now to the good news, the glass is original and flawless, the doors, fenders, floor pan, rear quarters, etc. are the original equipment and the lines are great. Trunk is clean and rust free. The interior is in great shape as well as carpet. All the chrome on the car is in great shape, the bumpers are a little rough and need the rust polished off. If you are looking for a car to clone as a cyclone this is it !!!!!! Or a cool classic everyday ride.
