1994 Saab 900 Turbo Comm Ed 1 of 500 Nova Black Metallic w/ Tan Leather and Black Piping I am selling my beloved 94 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible with only 79,XXX miles. This car looks and runs fantastic. Always serviced by either my dealer or my independent Saab guy. The recent work I have done includes New Top (6/10), Pads & Rotors (6/10), Shifter Ball Saab Part #412-0036 (10/09), Motor Mounts Part #95-57-158 (X3), 75-45-668, 75-45-650) (09/09), Seat Cable (6/10), Hood Latch (03/12) and I have a new battery (Optima) that I have not installed. I have the hard boot along with a partial spare in case any clips get broken. Other extras include front lip spoiler (NIB), Arm Rest, Seat Cables (hard to find - the seat back twists when these fail), Ball Joints (NIB), & Spare Key with Remotes and Cases. The remote entry is currently unplugged because it puts an extra drain on the battery. If you want it to work simply plug it back in. Some of the issues I am aware of:Cosmetic Scrape on Pas Side Bumper Ext (Used Bumper Ext Included with Saab)"900" Emblem on Trunk needs replacing (have NOS one included with Saab)Cruise Control - works intermittentlyPower Mirrors only up/down, not left rightA/C InopCracks in Fog Lamps All of these things are very minor and can be easily fixed. Thank you for looking. Good luck Bidding. Specs: The 900 Commemorative Edition Turbo Convertible was offered in the US market in September of 1993. This model was only available as a convertible with a manual transmission. It had a 185 Hp engine which gave it the same performance as the 1993 Commemorative Edition Turbo Coupe. The extra horsepower was achieved through the modified "red box" APC, a 2.8bar fuel pressure regulator, and a special distributor with enhanced vacuum advance. The exterior of the car was "Nova" black metallic. It is the only SAAB model that had this color. It also had tan leather interior like the 1993, but the seats were given a two-tone treatment by adding charcoal grey piping (they called it black, but it is the same piping used on the charcoal grey leather interiors). All had tan canvas tops. It did not share the 1993 CE's lowered suspension. Only a limited number of 500 were produced for the U.S. market (VINs ending in 008000-008500). They did not get the gold numbered badge like the 1993 CEs. All included leather interior, a burled walnut instrument panel facia, a leather gear knob and boot, and special charcoal gray metallic directional alloy wheelswith polished outer rims.
