The 2004 VW Phaeton is the collaboration of one of VW's leading engineers drive for excellence combined with years of R&D and attention to detail. This vehicle is equipped with a 4.2L V8 motor paired with an automatic transmission putting the power down to an all wheel drive drivetrain. These cars boast extravagant features you will not find in many of today's cars. Features such as, heated/cooled/massaging front seats, dual zone climate control with electronic real wood vent covers, AM/FM/CD changer/ Navigation Premium audio, moonroof, heated mirrors, heated washer nozzles, heated steering wheel, factory air ride suspension with 4 position switch ( Comfort to Sport ), rear heated seats, rear dual zone AC controls, rear shades for door windows, powered rear shade for back window, power locks, power windows, cruise control, multi function steering wheel controls, and much more! This vehicle was originally a $90K car in 2004 when it was released. Very comparible to an Audi A8. These vehicles were only made for two years for the U.S. market, 2004 and 2005. You will be hard pressed to see another one pull up next to you at the red light. This specific Phaeton was personally owned by the shop owner. It is up to date on maintenance but is not a perfect car. I will point out that the vehicle does have a Rebuilt title. This was not due to an accident. The previous owner had a water leak that could not be found by a VW dealership in South Carolina. After thousands and thousands of dollars quoted by the dealership, the insurance company finally threw in the towel and totaled it. When we got the car we found the drivers front sunroof drain leaking which damaged a control module in the floor. We repaired the module and the car started right up. We completed all of the maintenance on the car including a complete timing job with water pump. Mechanically the car is perfect! The transmission shifts perfectly, engine runs great with no oil leaks and no check engine light on. The brakes and air ride suspension are in great shape. All interior accessories operate as they should including 4 zone climate control and ventilated, heated and massaging front seats. The interior is smoke free and in great condition. The front bumper has a cracked area missing from it and is covered up with tape and the windshield has a crack in it on the driver's side. There is also a airbag light on the cluster. One other small thing is the rear heated seat control on the driver's side is missing. Once again this vehicle is not perfect, but overall this is a steal of a deal for someone wanting an affordable luxury car that is very unique. Offering amenities that many luxury cars today don't even offer. It does have newer Continental tires, approximately 80% tread, on the factory 18" alloy wheels. It also includes the navigation discs and the original owner's manual.
