Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 2001 Honda Insight with 203k miles. The engine is still good as I have put mostly highway mileage on my car driving 100+ miles a day. It has 49.1 lifetime mpg and it has AC but it needs a new condenser. It is a 5 speed manual and recently received a new clutch but the transmission needs to be replaced. I found an engine/transmission with 150k for $1100 should you be interested. The battery charges and works fine. I have a $300 credit towards a battery reconditioning ( in which they replace all of the damaged battery sticks ) which I will include with the purchase should you ever need it. http://www.hybrid-battery.com/insight/repair.html This would bring the eventual cost of battery replacement to below $1000. The tires are about 80%. Ill post more pictures later. Removal of my company name is simple and non damaging. The passenger window will not go up because the master switch needs to be replaced which I already have and will provide with the purchase. The vehicle must be transported as the transmission is out of the vehicle. One more concern is that the title is rebuilt. When I first received the vehicle someone hit my vehicle in the first month. The insurance company totaled it because the parts were so hard to find and buy. I found the parts myself and had the local body shop repair it. I have been driving it for 2+ years since without any problems. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks and I hope you one of you can put another 100,000 on her! I am going to adjust the buy it now price as well as the reserve.
