Vehicle Detail
I am selling my sweet 1929 Ford Model A Coupe. It is pretty clean and straight and fits into that unique rat street rod catagory. The car is powered by a Buick Wildcat motor and fresh TH350 auto tranny (unknown on exact miles). Driveshaft was custom built by Bill's Englewood Driveshaft LLC here locally. The starter, coil, and alternator were all replaced with brand new parts. New 1965 mustang radiator that fits great inside the original model A grill shell. Custom built zoomies supplied by Streamline hot rod shop in Denver. New gas tank and great red stop battery. The rear end is setup with a fully functional 4 link with bushing supplied by ThorBros.com and is ready for air ride if thats your style. Tires are in good shape and are true wide white walls. Wheels were recently painted to give it that traditional hot rod look. Brake system was reworked and upgraded with inline residual valves. New roof and door panels just upholstered and installed. The roof was chopped 7 inches and body channeled 7 inches to give it a crazy aggressive stance. It has a nice front windshield and cut down orignal Model A window frame. The body on the coupe isn't too bad considering the age. It is has recently been sanded down mostly to bare metal. The rear quarters behind the doors could use small patch panels if you want the body to be completely straight, but it still looks incredible the way it sits now. Everything works great and the motor runs strong. It is driver daily right now anywhere from 20 miles to 150 miles a day without a single issue. If you are looking for a show winner rat rod that is turn key and go than this one is for you. The title is free and clear and registers to a 1928 Model A. The rod started as a 28 model A pickup and the body was later swapped for the 29 coupe. Buyer is responsible for arranging for pickup or transportation.
