Up for sale is my Dad's beautiful 1972 Saab Sonett III. Exterior is done in tangerine orange and black accents with all new tan interior. "Soccer ball" style wheels with new tires. Vehicle was bought from Florida resident and is rust free. Many hours and dollars into mechanical rebuild. Over 3k in motor alone professionally rebuilt w/receipts to prove. Less than 1k miles on rebuild. Odometer shows 57263, but actual is unknown. Motor is balanced, has all new or reconditioned internals, mild cam, high strength rod bolts, hardened valve seats, rebuilt Ford style carb, rebuilt alternator, starter, new water pump, fan bearing in front cover. All new clutch kit, clutch and brake hydraulics, hoses, thermostat, v-belt, igniton parts, electronic distributor, axle boots, trans mount, shocks, voltage regulator, good used motor mounts. Trans is quiet and shifts smoothly. "Free wheeling" has been removed. Shifter reverse lock-out kit installed. Amsoil trans oil. Interior is all new with exception of dash which is not chopped and in great shape. "Dynamat" sound insulation was applied to all floor pans, sides, and in doors. Floor pans were cleaned and painted, as was engine compartment in Rustoleum gloss black. Pans are in excellent shape. Oil pressure gauge was added. Dual exhaust w/cherry bombs. Body and paint are very good driver quality, not show. New door and rear glass weather strip kits and gaskets. Doors completely dissassembled and reworked. New sill plates. Vehicle is stored in "Cover-It" garage. Never driven in bad weather and adult owned. Must see and test drive. Tight, fun car with nimble handling and good power.
