I am selling my 1997 F150 4x4 pick up. This has an automatic tranny, push button 4 wheel drive, power windows & locks, 4 door pick up, 4.6 v-8, 6' 6" bed. I had purchased this truck with a bad head gasket last fall. I proceeded to disassemble this down to the frame only. I had decided to give this a complete overhaul. This is an awesome truck!! check it out I had sent off the following parts to the sand blaster & had them powder coated Black : Frame - rear Axle housing - torsion bars - cross member - lower control arms - bumper brackets - Cl-3 Receiver - multiple brackets The body was a 1997 3 door with a 6' 6" box originally - The body & box were rotted to bad to invest to fix - I found a 1999 4 door super cab and bed and decide to set this on the 1997 frame - I sanded the underside of the body & bed and sprayed a self etching primer and a heavy duty Black on the entire undercarriage as well as the engine compartment. I took all of the interior, and electronics from the 97 cab & installed them into the 99. It worked really well. I Engine had a bad head gasket when purchased - I tore the engine down & had the head gone thru and machined - I installed a complete gasket kit - New upgraded fuel injectors - New 9 mm heavy duty wires - new pulleys - new belt - New polished aluminum cold air intake system - polished the aluminum components and sprayed them with a high temp clear - new exhaust manifolds - new heat riser tube - I re taped the entire wiring harness like new - the engine was painted with high temp paint & more I probably forgot! New components : I installed the following items: New u joints all axles & shafts - new U bolts - New fuel tank straps - New spare tire cable holder - new upper control arms loaded - new lower control arm bushings & ball joint - new tranny filter & fluid flush - New axle seals Front & rear - All new brakes completely 100% - new brake lines & fittings stock rubber and steel line as well cut & flared to fit - New tie rod ends - new sway bar bushings - new 3" leveling keys for the front torsion bars - new 2" lift kit for rear - new 2" lift kit on body with bumper brackets - new running boards - new magna flow single in dual out stainless exhaust system - all new bolts and hardware on most components - 33" tires 80% life - new black smoke headlights & turn signal lamps - New black smoke rear tail light assemblies - Rubber bed mat for bed - Low profile plastic tool box in bed - Also Raven fiber glass black topper with tinted side windows I have over 175 hours into this rebuild, it runs like a new truck and only has 400 miles on the rebuild
