1997 Honda Civic DX Coupe VIN# 1HGEJ6229Vl126904 Auctioning off is a 1997 Honda Civic with 77,994 actual and original miles, sale is being made by Alex Auto Body. This Civic has a 1.6 Liter 4 Cylinder engine with an automatic transmission; car runs great, transmission shifts smooth. Standard Equipment includes: Manual Windows, Manual Door Locks, Manual Mirrors, AM/FM radio, air conditioning, a cloth gray interior, and a freshly painted green exterior. This vehicle was purchased from IAA (Insurance Auto Auctions) run drive. Parts we replaced are as follows: front bumper cover, hood. The entire car has been freshly and professionally repainted. Ohio Highway Patrol conducted a Salvage Inspection on the vehicle once everything was repaired and the BMV issued it a Rebuilt Title; admitting it road worthy. We've been driving the car and it does have a check engine light on. We hooked it up to the computer and the 1st oxygen sensor code came up. I have that oxygen pictured in this listing for those who aren't sure what or where it is. It isn't a big deal and fairly inexpensive to replace but we've been so packed with work lately that we're selling it as is. Car is sold as is with the check engine light on. Two other issues worth mentioning: 1) airbag light is on (we bought the car with airbags intact and not deployed so I'm not sure if something happened prior to our ownership or what but the airbag light is on) and 2) there is oil slowly dripping from the transmission (also pictured in this listing). Again, car drives fine and transmission works and shifts as it should but car sells as is with oil leak. Aside from those 3 issues, everything works as it should, buy it and drive it straight home!
