Scraped off the primer to give it the rat rod look on the sides. The original surface rust was left on the inside of the doors because the doors are original and nothing is meant to be hidden. It's something you could take care of down the road if you wish to.Not sure what all was done to the body but it looks very original and clean like Oregon Vehicles on the West Coast.Original factory glass tinted green. Manufacturers seal in corners. NEW STUFF: Most of the major body work has been done. some little quarter sized dings in places.3rd brake light on rear lidCleaned gas tank and gas tank filter and painted with primer on outside. Front beam is a narrowed and lowered fully adjustable beam. Front disc brakes. New clutch plate New pressure plate New throw out bearing IRS rear conversion with freeway flyer transmission. New distributor, New plugs, Rebuilt 34 pict carburator Oil change Valves adjusted Tuned up New muffler PROJECT STUFF: The cargo floor is solid but the belly pan has some rust. frame is very solid. inside of cargo doors have typical rust- small crack on driver's side front glass.The bench seat was stolen while I was on my fishing boat for 5 months. So no front seat foam.Before the engine was put in, the vehicle sat for a couple of years so I recommend shipping, for no typical VW surprises. I'll try this again. I will throw in a middle 70's Westy closet and jumpseat base. I will also throw in a Cooler/Sink that has laminate on one side missing. The laminate DOES NOT match the other Westy furniture as it is around 1969 and the other Westy closet and jumpset laminate is later and darker in color. The cooler does not have the snorkel, tank, it's just the cooler and sink. No furniture padding/foam is included as I don't have it, no z-bed is included as I don't have that either. Z-beds can be found on thesamba and on google if you look. You can also have the foam for the whole westy kit made as I just did from a local furniture reuphosterer for my 1969 westy. So I have an these extra parts I am adding if you want them: 1 mid 70's Westy closet, door is there but off. 1 mid 70's jumpseat base.no foam there. 1 poor condition cooler sink. (Cooler isn't bad just the laminate wood on the outside).
