Currently this Saleen is equipped with Pirelli PZero Nero 265/35/zr18 front tires and Continental Extreme Contact DW 285/30/zr18 rear tires. This Saleen Mustang is no Standard Saleen Pony by any means. Prior to my friend acquiring this car, the previous Owner had a lot of tasteful mods done on this Incredible sounding Saleen Mustang. Upgraded Equipment Tastefully and Expertly Performed on this Eye Catching Saleen ride are as follows: Engine rebuilt at 30,000 miles by Apex Motorsport in San Jose, California. Forged crank and pistons bored over .30 with ported TrickFlow heads; Stage II Comp Cams; (You really have to have to hear this car in person, it has a very Mean and Aggressive tone/sound-If you search Youtube you a video of this car prior to my friend owning it with 673,000 views and even that video doesn't do the sound of this ground pounder justice) Ford Racing 70MM Throttle Body; Pro M 80MM Mass Air Meter; BBK Longtube Ceramic Coated Headers with matching BBK Offroad H-Pipe. The car was then shipped to Chicane Sport Tuning in Torrance, California for additional upgraded equipment: Paxton Novi 2000 Supercharger; Auto Meter Phantom White Faced Fuel Pressure and Boost Gauge; Chicane Center Exhaust System with an S351 center exhaust rear valence; Ford Racing 42lbs Fuel Injectors; Chicane 255lph fuel pump; Ford Racing 3.73 rear gears with superior axles; Maximum Motorsport Camber Cast Plates; Global West Subframes Connectors with seat supports; H&R Sport Springs. Saleen was then taken to Powertrains Performance in Huntington Beach, California for a custom Dyno tune with an Autologic Chip. Original California car currently being stored in West Benton, Kentucky. This 11 year Old Saleen Mustang does have some classic road chips on the Front Fascia, but nothing that any person wouldn't expect out of an 11 year Old car with 57K Miles. Thanks for looking at my auction here!On Apr-16-12 at 20:09:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added this response to a question asked by a Potential Buyer of this vehicle in which the following response was too long to put in the message area provided by E-bay back to them! Here is the Question asked as follows. Q: I know this era Saleen is prone to cracks in the paint and side skirts, how do they look on this car? Also, are there any other issues with this car? What is the reserve? A: Thank you for your interest in the Saleen and questions you have regarding the condition of the car. In my opinion, on a scale of 1 to 10, this car is a solid 8.5 to 9. The body is straight and true, the paint looks amazing in person; the pictures don't do the car justice. The car can be driven daily or taken to shows and will turn heads where ever you take it, by the thunder of the exhaust to the glimmer of the paint. However, the car is not perfect as it has been driven its entire 11 years of life. The front fascia does have rock chips and could be repainted, along with the side skirts that do show some wear. The drives side skirt below the door does have a crack in the paint. The passenger side door does have a section of six scratches below the door handle approximately 1.5 inches long. The Saleen tri-vent scoop treatment on both rear quarter panels directly behind the door do have rock chips as well. The rear fascia and wing need nothing. The rear deck lid does have one patched hole on each side from where the original S281 wing was mounted along with a hole in the third brake light from the previous wing. The car could use a new set of headlights as the current set does have the typical mustang yellowing from age and use. The interior of the car does not show 50,000 miles plus with of seat time. The drivers’ side Recaro does need the leather to be rebound along the back of the seat. I had it done once however these Trend style seats are prone to working their way loose, especially if a larger framed person is driving the car. The engine bay could stand to be detailed. The plastic piece that covers the radiator is damaged and needs to be replaced. The car is turnkey and runs very, very strong. It does have a very noisy belt but that does not interfere with the performance of the car. Under acceleration, the sound of the blower overcomes the squeak of the belt. There will be no disappointments regarding the performance and handling of this Saleen. Should you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I do have additional pictures of the car including the areas that would need attention to make this car a 10. I will not disclose the reserve in this response, but you are more than welcome to send me an email: cuthemdown@hotmail.com or call me in person (949) 933-1142 to further discuss the price of the car. There is one discrepancy in the description of the auction; the car currently has 58,300 miles rather than the 57,500 that is listed. Thank you again for the interest. – Robert C-On Apr-21-12 at 19:49:02 PDT, seller added the following information: THE RESERVE ON THIS AWESOME SALEEN MUSTANG HAS BEEN LOWERED AND IS ALMOST MET HERE WITH THE CURRENT BIDDING!
