The vehicle up for bid is a 1977 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser. It has been used by our family as a hunting vehicle since it's purchase in 1977 from the original owner when it was 6 months old. There have been no alterations or changes to the vehicle, it is all original, numbers matching. Starts and runs excellent and is driven every week just to keep everything lubed and working. Engine does not burn any oil and is in excellent condition as well. This vehicle has NO power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, etc and that is the way they were made. These are tough 4 wheel drives made to go in tough country with few creature comforts. Owner is a NON-smoker. Vehicle has several spots of rust that should be easy for a paint/body shop to repair. They are in the metal of the body above the rear tail light and beside the Toyota insignia. I have tried to include good photos of these spots but feel free to ask questions. Buyer pays for and arranges all shipping. This vehicle is in Roswell, NM.
