I purchased this Boxster from a local private owner about 2 years ago. I was looking for a first generation Boxster with this silver/red color combination, options, and condition. The only reason I am selling this car is because of an unexpected deal on a 911. This vehicle has 48,000 miles, a 5 speed manual transmission. It also has heated seats & traction control. I am a long time Porsche fanatic and have owned over 20 Porsches. I am very anal about these cars. This is a truly awesome, original example. It would be extremely difficult to find a nicer car. No paint work. All options work. No smells. No stories. The air bag light is on which is common for this year and model. In most cases, it's because of the seat buckle. If you buy the car for the asking price, I will include 2 new Porsche seat buckles. Other than the air bag light, I know of nothing this car needs. If you purchase the car for the asking price, I will also include a new Porsche water pump and serpentine belt I bought as maintenance items.   The HARD TOP IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE, but is available if you wish. The soft top is in excellent original condition. Again, if you pay the asking price, I will also include an updated power top cable I bought as a precaution.   I have bought and sold high dollar Porsches online and I understand the challenges.  Check my feedback and bid with confidence.  I'm so confident about this car,  I will refund your deposit if it is not how I described it.   Those with no or negative feedback, must obtain prior approval before bidding.  The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.   A $1500 refundable deposit is due within 3 days of the auction's end.  Balance is due within 7 days, unless we agree on different terms.
