Vehicle Detail
I have a 1995 BMW 740i for sale. I have owned this car for 10 years. It had a new motor put in at 121k miles by the BMW dealer in Denver Colorado. It has the new style block in it since the old style failed at 121k miles. I am in sales and this car has been great for me. Most the miles are highway miles. I have always kept the maintainance up, replaced ball joints, bushings, struts and other things as needed. The exterior is very clean, with just a few spots that need to be touched up. The interior is very good also, no rips or tears in the seats, I always kept rubber mats on the carpet mats, and the dash has no cracks. The tires have less than 7k miles on them. The engine, just got it back from the shop because it started missing. They found that number 2 and 3 cylinders have no compression. I did not want to put anymore money into it knowing I was going to get a new car anyway. There is no knocking or leaking of anti-freeze into the oil, or oil into the anti-freeze. The car still starts right up but misses. It is still driveable and I was doing 65 on the highway coming back from the repair shop. The AC blows nice and cold and it is still a great riding and handling car. I hate to see this one go, but it is time. Someone with a little time can get this back going good. Everything else is good. Brakes were done last year and have alot left, the tires are almost new. If you can do the engine work, you would have a nice car that already had alot of things replaced. The car is as-is and the winning bidder needs to handle the transportation. If you want to test drive, you still can. I do not think I would drive it cross country, but it has been to the shop and back. Email me any questions.
