purchased from original owner 2 1/2 years ago. body and paint finished last August. minimal rust in each 1/4 panel dogleg repaired with new 1/2 quarters (lower half). battery area and floorpans are and were 100% rust free. car completely stripped to bare metal primed,painted using single stage urethane for years and years of durable protection. I have gathered most if not all needed to complete interior. seats are in great condition and will not need to be redone. Car retains it's original engine and transmission. both work excellent. new brake hoses,wheel cylinders, carb kits, tune up,fuel pump,tires,weatherstripping weather seals, over $7,000.00 in body and paint work parts and labor. Not to mention purchase price of car. Car starts and runs great and can be driven anywhere. does not overheat,steers drives, brakes great. the hard costly work has been done. delivery possible depending upong location and compensation for delivery services. HOWEVER....once bids have reached reserve, this will not apply except in undue circustancesOn Apr-09-12 at 15:11:50 PDT, seller added the following information: the engine compartment looks kinda yukky in the pictures, but in all honesty, it is actually the way it came from the factory. It has a cosmoline-type of coating which is all over the engine bay, and all over the underside of the car which protected it during the overseas shipping. If you take your fingernail and scrape it, there is shiny nice original white paint underneath. The fittings and stuff all show the nice gold-anodizing which the car has from day one. I was told by a museum curator to leave the engine bay alone and to NOT sand it down to re-paint. It will clean up to like new shiny paint if you take the time. On Apr-12-12 at 12:27:03 PDT, seller added the following information: a 5 speed transmission with 50,000 miles on it goes with the car. The original shifter handle goes with the car,and will be installed and operational. The pistol grip shifter in the pictures is NOT included. Also included is another pair of black Datsun Z car seats in good condition. I have the console and most if not all the interior parts, carpets etc etc
